The golden color of this self-flowing hot spring is “hypertonic,” which indicates that the hot spring water is thick.
The spring water is highly effective in sterilizing and moisturizing, and is valuable for its ability to exfoliate the skin while keeping it moist and beautiful.
It is a natural hot spring with a long history, having been enjoyed by many people for approximately 1,700 years as a hot spring for fertility.

Iki Island, where Iki Retreat Kairi Murakami is located, can be reached by jetfoil from Hakata Port (Fukuoka Prefecture) in about 1 hour, and from Nagasaki Airport in only about 30 minutes, making it a remote island very close to major cities. It is also conveniently accessible from all ports and Iki Airport, which is a 15-25 minute drive away.
